Limitations

Is there a limit on how many objects that can be viewed in the Maps View at once?

Answer

We can show max 100 posts. We show exactly those posts that you can also see in the table view.

Common Issues

A warning is shown about the limit being reached and not all coordinates are fetched in the Map View

Solution

The Lime CRM application is running the free version of the Maps add-on. Changing to the licensed version will remove the warning and new coordinates will be fetched again. Ask Lime Technologies for help with this.

Unable to find the query field in Lime Admin

Solution

The field on which you want to place the web component to show the map on a card must be a text field.

The location on the card does not match the location in the Map View

Solution

We use different services for the map that you can see on the card and for the map that you see in the Map View. The one that we use on the card is a free, embedded service, which also uses browser information such as your country to determine the location of the object that it is searching for.

For the Map View we first need to determine the object's coordinates. We request those from Google, where we base the information solely on the configured fields. In some rare situations this service is not able to determine the location accurately and it will return the wrong result. This may be caused by a mistake in the configuration for the location fields.
