How it Works¶
Visualize the Address on Any Limetype Card¶
If there is an address, there is a way!
Any limetype containing address information can have a map added on its object card. Some examples include:
- Company
- Work order
- Ticket
- Real estate property, apartment or office space for rent
- Utility installation point
- Office
The images below show a company and a work order. The map can be placed anywhere on the card.
The map is interactive, as you expect from a Google Maps component, and you may easily jump right over to Google Maps if you need to continue there. For example when on your phone, needing directions when you are traveling to visit your customer, or to carry out a work order.
Map Visualization of a Data Set¶
Understand a list of Lime CRM data better through a map visualization. This of course works for all limetypes containing an address, but also for any limetype related to such an "address holding" limetype. Some examples of limetypes benefitting from a related address are:
- Look at your todos on a map, based on their linked company's address. Can be used to get an overview of the upcoming customer meetings to arrange your journey in a smart way.
- Look at tickets on a map, based on the linked company, utility installation point or apartment. Is there a geographical connection between the tickets?
The image below shows an example of the filter "My customers with a decreasing trend", a filter that typically exists in the add-on ERP Connector that indicates customers you should pay some extra attention to.
Filters¶
The normal filters in the Global Explorer also affects the map view. You may filter in two ways:
- Simply change the filter when viewing the map. This will rerender the map with the new filter's limeobjects instead.
- Change back to the table view and do custom filtering in the column filters there. Then change back again to the map view and the map will now contain the new data set you filtered out.
The images below shows some examples of Work orders. First using the filter "Stockholm area" and then switching to the filter "My open".
Go to the Limeobject¶
Clicking on any marker on the map, or limeobject in the list to the left, will give you the possibility to open it in Google Maps, or open the limeobject card in Lime CRM. Perhaps open the company marked on the map, to give them a call and book a meeting?
